Title: Awesomeness is a few doors away
Guys,
I wanted to drop you an email thanking you for all that you have done to affect my quality of life in the last 6 weeks.
To make a long story short for those who are reading this on your website and don't' know all the details, here are some….
2009 I started having left shoulder pain shooting down my arm, my general doctor did arosti on me, then ordered an MRI on my spine and shoulder.
Fall of 2009 I was told I had a bump on my thyroid that the MRI showed. I ended up having Thyroid cancer. Shoulder pain was worth it, it meant I was alive.
Spring of 2010 I was deemed a cancer survivor and went back to the should issue. It turns out, I never knew the general dr. ordered two MRIs and only did one. If they had done the other one instead of the one they did, I would likely have cancer today and not know it.
Summer of 2010 a hardcore (forget title) neuro micro other words surgeon looked at the MRI that was just done and my original MRI. He ordered physical therapy and a shot. No pain for a while
After summer of 2010 pain continues to linger, and my knee started hurting as well, feeling like someone was stabbing it on the inside part of the left knee. I applied a brace, and started taking over the counter joint pills, no real relief, but it wasn't getting any worse either.
Summer of 2011, you guys are in our building and see me in my knee brace and tell me you just had someone cancel an appointment and had an opening.
So here we go…..
acupuncture

that massaging thing (pad sander as I call it)
tape
analysis of my office and phone usage (I bought a new desk in 2010 thinking that would help, but adding a keyboard drawer at your recommendation seems to have been a bigger help than a few desk)
Getting a blue tooth headset so my should isn't curled up 2000+ minutes per month (at your recommendation again)
I ended up going from a pain ranking of 7-10 and not being able to stand at my kids Kindergarden orientation to a few weeks later softly climbing the stairs 3 at a time with no pain, after that I went back to one at a time.
The shoulder stabilized as well and sleep and work had been basically pain free with one of my rankings to you at .25 (1 quarter of 1 on a 1-10 scale) and that is after using the shoulder a fair deal.
While on a business trip I woke up the final morning feeling like someone had stabbed me in the back right ribs. Going from Portland to Denver, and Denver to Dallas it just got worse. Once I make it home, I had supper in bed and then went right to sleep hoping it would leave, but when I work up the next day after 14 hours of sleep, I had your appt. on a Sunday and 1.5 hours later, I think you knew as much about my neck and spine as God when he put it together. I can't say all the adjustments were totally pain free, but nothing worthwhile is easy and I woke up the next day feeling GREAT! a 4 of 10 in pain, where before the appt. I think I rated it a 12 of a 1 to 10 scale (my numbers). A day later my left shoulder had a similar, but slightly less pain. I came in with short notice, you guys got on it and by the next day I was great and have been great since. I came in today and the only thing I could say even remotely hurt was a small twinge in my knee, so you worked on it.
I have been happier at work and home, moving more, faster, better and quality of life is a major 180 degree turn to what it was 6 weeks ago.
I cannot say thank you enough….If I could just get my CPA and Lawyer to move into the building, I would never have to leave other than to go home (and to Cowboys games)
