DrAfsar.jpg Dr. Afsar Sokhansanj completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Michigan State University, receiving her master's degree in Biological Sciences in April, 1993. She worked as a research associate in the department of Pathology at the University of Wisconsin and also in the department of Oral Biology at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Dr. Sokhansanj moved with her family to Dallas, Texas in August, 1996, remaining at home to raise her three sons until returning to school to study chiropractic at the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.

She obtained her doctorate degree in Chiropractic in August, 2002. Dr. Sokhansanj also teaches Anatomy and Physiology at Brookhaven Community College. In addition, Dr. Sokhansanj has presented scientific research studies at many national and international meetings.

 


DrFarshid.jpgDr. Farshid Marzban completed his undergraduate and graduate work at Michigan State University, receiving his doctorate degree in Anatomy-Neuroscience in December, 1992. He then completed two post-doctoral research programs at the University of Wisconsin Madison Primate center and the University of Kansas Medical center.

In August of 1996, he accepted an associate professor position teaching neuroscience at the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. During the first trimester of his teaching, he developed a great interest in thephilosophy, art, and science of chiropractic, especially after a chiropractor friend was able to cure his recurring migraine headaches after a few sessions of chiropractic care. Hence, he began his chiropractic education in September, 2000 and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic in September, 2002.

  Dr. Marzban is also a full professor,  teaching Clinical Neurology/ Neuroscience to chiropractic students. In addition, Dr. Marzban has presented scientific research studies at many national and international meetings.
